Hear from Our Happy Parents

We have been members of the Tiny Tykes community for the past 3 years, and have had a wonderful experience working with Mr. John, Ms. Jen, and the other caring members of the TT staff. We highly recommend TT without reservation. We have felt safe leaving our two boys in their care, and have never once had to leave work for an early pickup. We have never had problems or concerns about the boy’s safety, and appreciate how they are exposed to books, crafts, dramatic play, writing and coloring, and fresh air in a safe, enclosed outdoor playground. Our boys have loved TT, and have grown so much in their social skills because of their time with the other children.  

The boys have always napped well while there, and have been exposed to new foods, which has broadened their palates.  TT has always accommodated our need for early drop off and/or late pick-up, and has always done what they can to accommodate additional care needs that have come up for us on occasion. We are so grateful for the time our boys have spent at TT, and have recommended them to our friends on numerous occasions.

Like most parents, we were expecting to find a daycare where our daughter would be happy and safe. No doubt, we found that with the owners of Tiny Tykes, John and Jen Jaquish. Finding care providers that treat your children as you would is a rare and beautiful find. What we didn’t expect was how much our child would thrive in the learning environment they’ve created for these children. Our daughter’s previous daycare segmented children by age, which meant at nearly two years old she spent her days with children who spoke minimally or not at all. We were concerned that she did not speak much since our previous children by that time did and we are all big talkers.

We have currently been with Tiny Tykes less than a year and she has gone from non-verbal/unintelligible to carrying on conversations with adults, recognizing her letters, spelling her name, etc. There are not enough words we could use to express the blessing Tiny Tykes has been to our life and our daughters. She is forever changed because of the multi-age environment Tiny Tykes has that mixes all ages into play, structure, and learning!

My daughter started at Tiny Tykes shortly after turning 1 year old and my son started around 18 months old. The moment our kiddos started, their language exploded. The amount of education that is extended to the kids is so amazing. They come home every day talking about random knowledge about so many things the have learned at school. They learn coping skills and how to interact with peers. They have a healthy level of discipline and offer "hoot hoot hooray" awards to one child every day for their good behavior/being a helper/doing something kind for another classmate. At 3 years old they begin the preschool program, focusing on kindergarten preparation. They focus on themes, letters, numbers, and crafts. They have an amazing play area and also do nature walks around the property.

John has been such an amazing male influence to the kids and works with them on how to cope with their feelings, while making the school day fun and exciting. Jaden and Kelsey have also been so amazing, creating a fun, nurturing, and structured environment that the kids feel safe in, as we as excited to go to school every day. I can't speak enough about this school!

We absolutely love Tiny Tykes! John, Jen and their team immediately started treating our son like family. Our son is hard of hearing and John and Jen quickly started looking up signs and even found a group to come to teach all the other kids more sign language. The whole team truly goes above and beyond for all their kids. We are so happy we found a place our son is excited about. In just 3 months we have seen so much growth socially and intellectually for our son.

It is always a big decision when you are taking your child to daycare and when we found out there was an opening at Tiny Tykes, we knew it was the right place, so we moved daycares! John and Jen and the team always are so caring and supportive to our child. They have literally become like 2nd parents to our child, and it feels like they love him like their own. Appreciate them so much!
